My daughter read this book, and asked me and my husband to read it too. It was a very quick read, but super fun. The cover made me think I wouldn‘t like the story, but it‘s deceiving (seriously, the book needs a new cover). Two 13 yr old kids, after a tragedy, go to live with their uncle on a remote island. Turns out he‘s more than he seems, and an adventure in the Congo ensues. Great read for families!

#Believe I'm so fascinated with Cryptids, not that I necessarily believer but I like to keep an open mind to it too. Except I won't lie, I've always believed in the Loch Ness Monster from a young age. I mean, why not? We find all kinds of supposedly extinct dinosaurs in the ocean often.
