so-soThis book started out so promising; and I really did like the presentation of a gritty Paris and the main two characters, Father Kern and Magistrate Kauffman. However, the ending was so choppy, weird and even a misplaced impromptu confession by the “bad guy” to tie it all up with a bow.

Finished book 3. I had to really push through this one. There's a lot of gross talk about women that didn't settle well with me. My cat Potter and I are taking an 8 hour break. We'll be back for round two in the morning! #24in48 #readathon #litsy
Next up for the #24in48 - an interesting suspense novel about a murder in Notre Dame from a person who actually used to work there at the Cathedral!
