Guys! I'm going to meet my best friend in NYC next month and we're going to HAMILTON. Plus we will have 1.5 other days in the city! What should we do? Where should we eat? Bonus points if it's cheap, and/or Hamilton or history related, since we are both huge nerds! 🙂 Oh - and favorite books set in NYC?? 🤓📚

emilyhaldi Make sure to visit The Strand bookstore! And I just recently finished this book set in NYC, so lovely ❤❤❤ 8y
Caterina Ahhh so jealous you get to see Hamilton! I visited a friend in NYC last fall. I loved the Strand bookstore, and the Met, and the NYPL, and the Ground Zero memorial. 8y
Caterina Also reading in Central Park is perfect and wonderful. 💛 8y

howjessicareads Ooh good idea @Caterina! I went once before, but it was Feb. Central Park will be much better in June!! 8y

BooksForEmpathy Check out Smorgasburg in Brooklyn! Beautiful view of the city, and cheaper (yet DELICIOUS!) eats because it's food stalls! I'm headed there in June as well and this will be one of my first stops! And yay for Hamilton. It's in SF right now and I see it at the end of this month!!! So excited!!!! Been listening to the soundtrack non-stop! 8y
ScientistSam There's lots of history in the Financial District area, like Federal Hall and Trinity Church. Central Park and the Met are also great suggestions. 8y
