I‘m so mad. It‘s still not working this morning and I only have an hour left in the book. 😡😡😡

Julia and Rocco are trying not to let pleasure interfere with business as Rocco is after her job while feelings arise. This enemies to lovers trope is laugh out loud funny while also tugging at the heart. Julia cannot take another let down after being dumped and left to pay all of the bills, she needs this job and not even a handsome face will jeopardize that. The deep family roots I enjoyed in this book !

Julia knows her job as the manager of a social program might be cut with a consultant coming in to check out her company.She‘s struggling to stay professional but shes attracted to said consultant. Rocco needs his job to get a promotion to support his sister,but he doesnt want to cut Julia‘s program and is quickly growing feelings for her.This book was so sweet and I loved the friends and family dynamics. I will definitely be reading more from her

Fun, a little slow to start but I loved the New Yorkers in Dallas friend group and enjoyed watching them fall in love with the state I‘ve come to call home. Definitely steamy, it kept me cleaning a little longer than expected just to keep listening. The sign of a good #audiobook Really enjoyed the narrators too!
