I've been reading and sharing a poem a day in my Instagram stories for #nationalpoetrymonth. It's been fun to reread some favorite poets and discover some new ones. Doireann Ní Ghríofa is one those I was introduced to. I'm now savoring a reread of her book, Lies. I picked up this volume of poetry by Doireann Ní Ghríofa, which is structured with the original Irish side-by-side the English translation. She gives such vitality to the mundane, and I'm definitely planning to read more of her work.

Stopped in at my favorite local indie store today on my way to dinner and picked up this slim volume for World Book Day, which also fits well with April being National Poetry Month 😊
