#OctoberRoundUp - no 5 stars this month and only 1 DNF. The standout was definitely Everhaven. Having been an indie ARC I wasn‘t expecting much but it was really good. I may not have had any 5‘s but not counting the DNF I didn‘t have any books under a 3.

Pickpick

Abigail is not only a social outcast but can see and speak to the dead. I truly enjoyed how fresh this story felt. It easily could have fallen in line with similar stories but the author had a way of making this feel totally original. I was hooked from the beginning. The writing was a bit sophmorish but that can be said for any YA.
