pickYou know I wouldn‘t assume that Constantine would‘ve been in Taylor‘s wheelhouse, but this works. Part of me always expects 1 more horrible thing, 1 more betrayal, 1 more loss of innocence in a Hellblazer story. But I am okay with just Constantine and the devil flirting for panels instead.
pickI don't usually review comics, but this one is special. I love the John Constantine character, and he's his usual bastard self here. We get some origin on John, how he's been a f@ck-up from the start. The art by Darick Robertson is gorgeous, especially on the larger than normal comic book size. Makes for a good, scary Halloween read. 5 💥💥💥💥💥
