I read Duke, Actually before this one, even though this is the first book of the "series." They can be stand-alone books, but overlap with their stories, if that makes sense. If I had read this one first, I probably wouldn't have read Duke, Actually. I feel like the characters in this one weren't nearly as well-developed throughout the story, and it seemed a little thrown together and definitely rushed at the end.
