Corum - The Bull and the Spear
Corum - The Bull and the Spear: The Eternal Champion | Michael Moorcock
2 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
In the ancient Castle Erorn, Corum of the Scarlet Robe dwells in isolation and sorrow. He has out-lived his great love, Rhalina, and is tormented by voices in his dreams—a crowd of shadowy figures chanting his name. Unable to ignore their calls for help any longer, he will travel through eons of time to an age of tragedy, where the people of Tuha-na-Cremm Croich, descendants of Rhalina, are persecuted by the giant gods of the Cold Folk. A great black bull has the power needed to defeat the monsters of a new age. But to tame the bull, the Eternal Champion must travel to the fatally beautiful island of Hy-Breasail to find the invincible and magical Spear Bryionak...

All of these books are #Under200Pages (with the exception of Stormbringer - it's 220 pages). I intended to reread the second Corum trilogy last year but didn't get around to it. This year, I'm planning on using it as my #trilogy pick for #LRC2018. #MarchintoBooks

GarthRanzz I haven‘t read any of the Elric books since high school. It was a series I always intended to get back into. 7y
Leftcoastzen Those were the most amazing covers!Love seeing them again . 7y
TK-421 @GarthRanzz I haven't read any of the Elric books for about a decade, I'm guessing. They've been on my reread radar for awhile, so I'm thinking I'll give them an #epicreread later this year. 7y
TK-421 @Leftcoastzen I have multiple editions of Moorcock's Eternal Champion novels, but these have always been my favourite covers! 7y

#MarchTBR Maybe. I'm not really a planner when it comes to reading, but these are a few that are on my tbr radar at the moment, plus some of the current reads I hope to finish. #MarchintoReading

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I read the first Landover Magic Kingdom book when I was in high school and just loved it, I've read every one since! 8y
TK-421 @Riveted_Reader_Melissa The Landover books were my first introduction to Terry Brooks. Now that I'm finally rereading them, I realize that I had forgotten how much I loved them! 8y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @TK-421 Did you see that he published one more book to that series a few years ago (5ish)? If not check it out after you finish your reread . 8y
TK-421 @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I read the last book a few years back but I hardly remember it! I'm going to give the whole series a reread 😊 8y
