March was a tough month - 3 excellent books, all 5+ stars. Had to pick one, and it‘s never wrong to pick Michael Wood! He‘s one of the greatest authors ever 🥰🥰🥰 Today was a horrible day. I was reading on the train when a drunk man came, sat next to me. First he verbally assaulted me, then he hit me on the head. No one did anything, no one said anything. He got off the train, came to the window and continued his abusive behavior. #12booksof2025

DieAReader 🫂😭That‘s absolutely horrible. I‘m so sorry you had to go through that. Shame on those fellow passengers for not speaking up or coming to your aid🤬 I hope the rest of your day in much much better♥️ now
Tove_Reads @DieAReader Thanks 🥰 Was all-in-all a day of violence, including the 🎭 I went to see, which was about violence. When I went to the library two 👮 cuffed a violent man and took him to jail. Christmas time is not for everyone… Luckily my friend is a detective, so he told me what to do. now
TheEllieMo What a terrible experience for you. I‘d like to be able to say I can‘t believe no one came to help you, but sadly I think people are too scared to tackle things like this these days. I hope the rest of your day is better. now

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

Mehso-so

The romantic plot was a bit eye-rolling and obvious, and the supporting characters felt one-dimensional, but I loved the Irish village setting and the magical realism element. This was my #ReadOrDonate pick for March. Definitely donating it.

This one is definitely darker, but I was fully prepared for that. It was laugh out loud funny in places (I was trying so hard not to wake the neighbours with my head under a pillow laughing SO hard at the dragon costume, but mostly the poster plant). It had some really hard parts to read, but it wasn‘t necessarily the dark parts I found hard to read (I‘d guessed at least some of them).

GingerAntics I‘m so, so glad it ended with the beautiful, wonderful HEA it did. Fionn and Rose totally deserved it - Fionn especially. I have greatly enjoyed the Kane brothers and their lovely wives. These will definitely be a pick me up reread going forward. 9mo
julesG The dragon costume was so well done, I wonder whether that was taken from a real life experience. 9mo
GingerAntics @julesG oh my god I was laughing SO hard, I was under my pillow trying not to wake anyone up. I was thinking the same thing. Who did you know who actually did this… and then he was green for a week! Lived Fionn piling on with that. “Maybe 2 weeks if you scrub a couple times a day… otherwise, maybe a month.” 🤣😂🤣 9mo

gossamerchild I'm still working on Cryptonomicon :-D It's a clunker, and I was sick for a few weeks in February, so yeah. Not a lot of reading. 10mo
