Mehso-so

Read this after it was recommended to me but I honestly felt it was just a middle of the road story.
The premise sounded so good, quite mysterious really but I just don't think much happened overall.
Jo has a good career in London but is jaded and restless so moves back to the forest of Dean for a new direction and I suppose challenge by taking on her parents failing butchers shop.
Meanwhile she takes a room with Tessa a withdrawn, complex lady.

Pickpick

Jo moves back to the forest of Dean from a high powered job that is unsatisfying in London.
Her mission is to try and save the family butcher business as her parents plan to retire.
Brimming with ideas she throws her lot into the shop to try and improve the takings.
Meanwhile she takes a room with the thorny Tessa in her cottage.
Both have baggage and slowly as they unfold their lives to each other they are forced to confront their issues.
