3.5/5⭐ I loved the dark, witchy, atmospheric vibe. The author did such a good job of establishing and maintaining that tone in every detail. It's a slow burn of a story that hooked me without me even realizing it until the end when I couldn't put the book down. I felt the conclusion wrapped Maggie and Alex up in too neat a bow given the severe marital problems, but the rest of it was satisfying. #roll100
