pickI think if you have to wait for each volume, you can get frustrated with the storyline, but back to back, you see the simplicity in Nakamura‘s storytelling mesh wonderfully with the detail in their art. Nakamura‘s not going to tell you something is happening, they‘re going to show you with tearful eyes, clenched hands (watch the hands 🥵) and hostile glares.
