3 posts | 3 read
Sometimes your past just won't let go...All NEW from Diane Saxon As a heat wave grips the country, DS Jenna Morgan is called to a domestic incident at the home of a young family in Ironbridge. Pregnant Imelda Cheetham-Epstein has been found unconscious by her husband, Zak with serious head injuries. When Jenna arrives on the scene, she discovers something even more disturbing the couple's eleven-month-old son, Joshua, is missing and the race against time begins to find him. Is this an accident or something more sinister? Are the two incidents linked? Or has something in the Cheetham-Epstein's past caught up with them? Diane Saxon is back with a gripping new psychological crime novel, perfect for fans of Cara Hunter and Carol Wyer. Praise for Diane Saxon: 'Crime fiction at its best.' Keri Beevis 'An addictive 5* read that kept me guessing. Diane Saxon's DS Jenna Morgan series is brilliant!' Ross Greenwood

The series got better with every installment. If you like a good police procedural this would definitely scratch that itch.

That plot twist 🤯 This is the last book in the series and it‘s so bittersweet 😭 It ended beautifully but I will miss Jenna, Fliss and of course domino 🥹❤️

CatLass007 I just finished this and I kinda saw the plot twist coming. I actually was disappointed to be right. It‘s sad for all concerned. I would be happy to read more about Jenna, Fliss, and Domino. 11mo

Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

DS Jenna Morgan is still recovering from the emotional fallout that happened in the previous books in the series. I haven't read the previous books, but I was able to catch up pretty quickly. She is called to the scene of a gruesome crime where a pregnant woman has been bludgeoned and an 11-month old boy has gone missing. (Cont. ⬇️)

CoffeeK8 Emily is a woman who is struggling. She's struggling professionally, she's struggling personally. When she finds out that her ex-boyfriend has moved on, she visits him at home, and loses control. Now Emily must grapple with the consequences of her actions and Jenna races against time to find the missing boy. 4y
