DrSpalding This would not be a science fiction book and I don‘t think that literature circles are the best option either. This would be considered non-fiction and obviously a book to read during math instruction. You would want to offer some Hershey kisses as manipulatives! I have done this and it works well as a fun Friday educational activity. Think long and hard about the teaching strategies you will implement with high-quality literature. 4y
