An interesting and different look at MJ.He was quite savvy when it came to the business side of music and understood early on where its true value existed.
I thought it might be a dry, business-y read, but it wasn't. And it was nice for a change to read about Michael Jackson as a real person and not an eccentric oddity.
Because he's from Gary,Indiana, and that's where the book starts and ends it works for #Indiana #BooksByState2023 8/50 @AsYouWish

"Once every few months during the mid-1980s, a handful of America's savviest businessmen gathered to plot financial strategy for a billion-dollar entertainment conglomerate."

The title grabbed my attention at a library book sale. I was a fan of Michael Jackson from all the way back in the The Jackson Five cartoon days. I'm rather intrigued to read about the business side of him.
