Mehso-so

I couldn't stand the book at first. It seemed to be poorly written, and I didn't want to continue reading it. However, after the first couple of chapters, it got better, and I found the writing was more appealing. I was wrapped up in the story by the end of the book, and the way it ended definitely wasn't what I was expecting from a middle grade book. Ultimately, I don't have many complaints. However, it still could have been better.

Pickpick

Another fun middle grade horror story! A boy with the ability to speak with ghosts gets a visit from Claire's mother. Claire's father has a TV show about banishing spirits that have been haunting people. They find that he's gone missing from a notoriously haunted town. Overall, a well told story with a good creep factor for MG readers!
