pickThis was entertaining. And different than expected. The relationship between Darwin and Wallace played an even more minor role than I thought. 😁 I think the “confusion” in the beginning is intended, and it‘s cleverly done.
I was a bit more interested in Bromberg than in Wallace. I think I simply liked his “gang” a bit more. But I was surprised how frequently I forgot that he lives in the present and not in 1858. 🙈
Would like more by the author.
I‘m pretty sure I have read about the “Mercator”-projection in some YA-novel and back then already was surprised because I didn‘t know before. Then time went by and I forgot about it again. Now I met it again here in „Wallace“ and was again surprised. By its existence and by the wonderful method that librarian explained it.

1️⃣ Yepp. Even if they don‘t share my passion. My significant other carries all the books I chose whenever we‘re in a library/bookshop and I occasionally swap books with my in-laws. 😃
