Mehso-so

This novella was an audio-experiment that didn‘t work out! The book itself was just OK - a bit grim and violent for me.

I wanted to see if I could persuade hubby to try audiobooks so picked this as it was only 2 hours long for our 3.5 hour motorway journey in the campervan last weekend.

Anyhow - it didn‘t work (for either of us)as we couldn‘t chat / make small-talk for fear of missing something in the book. Never mind; stick with radio/music!

Oryx Yeah we find audiobooks are best on the really long trips, like 6/7 hours.. So you have an hour or two of radio/chatting, settling into the journey, then when you can put it on at that stage when you realize you still have hours to go 3y
squirrelbrain I think we might try again one day, maybe when we drive to France (when we‘re allowed!) @Oryx 3y
