The Crooked Inheritance: Poems | Marge Piercy
3 posts | 1 read
The poet presents a lyrical, often humorous, study of the physical and personality traits she has inherited from wildly mismatched parents, the impact of her Detroit upbringing and slum girlhood, and her thoughts on the war in Iraq, hurricane Katrina, and the war on women's rights, and love. Pickpick

I love Marge Piercy, and this book was no exception. By turns political or personal, these poems were really great. My favorites were the poems about married sex. I really think she expresses that well, in a way that makes sense to me. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!
