Week 1 of #Scarathlon2021 #TeamSlaughter - 226 points, I think! I realized some of my reading counts for #BookSpinBingo but not for #BFC21, so I had to separate out my point tallying. I've done really well making time for little bits of reading for fun! And I'm halfway through the tagged and loving it. I think it'll count as a theme read? Because of Dune trying to solve the mystery of the syndrome. And it's my #BookSpin! @Clwojick
so-soAs a fan of Emergent Strategy, one of the author‘s nonfiction books on activism, I was really disappointed by this pandemic novella. I hope in the finished copies they‘ll communicate more clearly that this is the first in a proposed trilogy—as you don‘t find out until the end of the acknowledgments in the ARC. If you‘re content with very few answers and intense interiority, then I would still recommend Grievers.
