I got this on audio from Hoopla. Book was published in 1971, so yes, a bit dated. Marilyn Ross wrote the novelizations for the beloved old supernatural soap opera “Dark Shadows”.
I have a large collection of old paperback gothics, Marilyn Ross was a regular writer of the genre. It reads like a more adult Scooby-Do episode. Fun & throwaway with extensive adverb abuse. 👻
