pickLong-distance runner Edison Eskeets honored the Diné‘s forced march in 1864, named the Long Walk, by running from Arizona to New Mexico, retracing their steps.Jim Kristofic accompanied Eskeets and wrote this book.It documents the run, and remembers the history of Spanish colonization, cruelty, genocide, enslavement.I didn‘t like the writing style and wish Eskeets had written it himself giving insight into his inner world during the run.
