New Light on the Difficult Words of Jesus: Insights from His Jewish Context | 
pickAn excellent book. I found it challenging and insightful. How much does modern Christianity miss and misinterpret by ignoring or not understanding the Jewish context of the Scriptures? While I don't agree with a couple of the author's conclusions (Acts 15 for example), I find his expertise and clarity of explanation beneficial to my understanding of Scripture. Eye opening read.
