pickAn interesting read.. his own personal narrative, but also/mostly a journos p.o.v. of failings in WW2 especially the Malay campaign. Thought provoking and entertaining..conversational style; a little, not overly, didactic.. I'm up for more Mant.

ponyflorist Factual.. author was a journalist.. I enjoy historical fiction so this coulda gone either way for me. I enjoyed his relaxed style and general candour. 3y
