Made a cover for my new machine using my old refurbished machine 🧵 the tagged book inspired me to finally get around to it 🪡 it also provided some new research for my article on sustainable fiber art 🧶 all around great primer for sewists, beginners & veterans alike 😊 can‘t wait to try out the advice on sewing wardrobe pieces next!
Blueberry I once wanted to be a professional self-supporting fiber artist. Majored in textile-costume design at Univ of Cal. 3y
StaceGhost @Blueberry that‘s so cool! I took costume design courses but nothing in-depth. I‘d love to hear more about your degree! 3y
Blueberry I think my favorite classes were weaving which I can't do anymore because of a bad back. 3y
StaceGhost @Blueberry I‘m sorry to hear you can‘t weave anymore back problems are the worst & run in my family ☹️ my friend is teaching me to loom weave next weekend & I‘m really excited to try it 3y
