Today, I‘m sharing the books I read in February and the movies I watched. In February, I decided to start watching movies on Friday nights again because I like watching movies but I don‘t watch them very often. I didn‘t like the first book I read this month. I bailed on 2 books because they weren‘t for me but I liked the other books I read and I liked the movies I watched. I feel like I chose some good movies to watch.
February was a very up and down month, especially the second half of it.
Read 19 books but went from 399 pages a day in January to 250 in February, that‘s a big difference!
Six books finished this month. Two more places for #ReadingTheAmericas2023 ๐

Back from vacation, unfortunately. Hoping ill be able to get through a couple of books this month but there isn't much time leftโabout halfway through Touch of Darkness.
Bookspin - #10 - Netgalley
Double - #20 - King of Battle & Blood
Ridiculous start to #fabulousfebruary with six hours of pediatrician (kiddo‘s raging ear infection is now a raging DOUBLE ear infection) and trying to find a pharmacy to fill the new antibiotics prescription and then have the dr change the prescription because nobody can get the other oneโฆbut during the #readathon I hope to finish Dear Martin, catch up on Middlemarch, keep up with Plato at the Googleplex, and read one other book. ๐ค๐ป
Repost for @Andrew65
Today is the start of the #FabulousFebruary 9 day Pick Your Own Goals Readathon. From this month Iโve brought it forward a week so as not to clash with the #BacklistReadathon.
See the original post at https://www.litsy.com/web/post/2544307
I'm getting set for the #FabulousFebruary readathon, which kind of snuck up on me. My goals:
Finish Star Wars: A New Dawn
Finish Dawn of X Vol. 8, 9 & 10
Start Argonaut
Start Broken Icarus
Read 20 plus hours
Good luck to everyone who's joining in.

This Saturday sees the start of the #FabulousFebruary 9 day Pick Your Own Goals Readathon. From this month I‘ve brought it forward a week so as not to clash with the #BacklistReadathon.
Hope you are all ready to get your reading month off with a bang with this popular Readathon. Anything goes, choose your own goals (whatever they may be) & tailor it to your own real-life commitments. Just post your goals to sign up. A fun and relaxed Readathon.

My #bookspin list for February! January was a success, but now that‘s I‘m back in school, we‘ll see how February goes. ๐ I may be playing a little catch-up this summer. โบ๏ธ This month I added a FOURTH reading challenge (Barnes & Noble) and squished Litsy and GoodReads TBRs into one prompt so I have some leeway. Happy Reading, fellow Spinners!
My #FebruaryTBR plans for next month. I hope I can finish them all. Let me know if you've read any of these. What are you planning to read next month?
#KindredSpiritsBuddyReed : Anne of Manhattan @BarbaraJean
#LittleHouse read along: On The Banks of Plum Creek
@megnews
The Birthday Fairies are looking forward to celebrating with all of these lovely Littens in February.
If you‘d like to be included and receive some #birthdaylove on your special day, simply send your Litsy handle and birthday to litsybirthdays@gmail.com and the Fairies will do the rest!
Remember you can only apply for yourself, but why not encourage your friends to apply for themselves too?!

Switched books around and added some more that I started to read but had to put away to get through my library books. #bookspin
Here is my #FebruaryTBR for #bookspinbingo #bookspin & #doublespin
Lots of romance, fantasy and love stories. Looking forward to another good month of reading and also checking off some #NoShameReadathon2023 reads and sharing suggestions!
Hanging in my daughter‘s room while she feels โickyโ - setting up my February #bookspin while I keep her company.
All the Feb wrap-ups I‘ve missed. For the month I read 18 books/4188 pages (not including ongoing reads), 6 NF and 3 books by Black authors (short on that goal). In #FabulousFebruary I read my four planned plus two more books, and in #20in4 I beat my 20-chapter goal by (finishing a book with long chapters and starting one with teeny ones) reading 52!
Nine books this month. Not too bad for a month full of events including Mardi Gras and moving house!
February #MonthInReview
I was in a bit of a reading slump at the beginning of the month but reading mostly romances all month long helped. I feel pretty energized going into March โบ๏ธ
19 books finished
0 DNF
4 physical books
4 audiobooks
5 graphic novels
0 nonfiction
4 rereads
February was kind of a strange reading month for me: ๐ซDNF‘ed Then We Came to the End and I hardly ever bail on books
๐ซread 2 other books I didn‘t really enjoy
โ
listened to 2 fantastic audiobooks
โ
surprised myself by liking Ivanhoe way more than I thought I would
โ
read both #roll100 picks
โ
read #bookspin
โ
read #foodandlit buddy read
โ
6/7 (plus the DNF) were off of my GR TBR
I love the stats on StoryGraphโฆ it‘s always so interesting to see how it reveals my reading trends. (I would love a graph to show the breakdown between TBR/new/library reads, thoughโgiven my perpetual quest to read the books I own!)
Lots of 4.5โญ๏ธ reads for me in February! Those top reads were:
๐ Crying in H Mart (for #NewYearWhoDis)
๐ Heartstopper Vol. 1
๐ The Long and the Short of It
โณ How Long โtil Black Future Month (re-read & just as good)
I read 26 (audio)books in February, making it my first double-digit reading month since last February. It was an mostly enjoyable bunch of books; only a few turned out to be duds.
My #FebruaryStats make clear that I didn‘t read any very satisfying books and that I didn‘t read my #bookspin or #Doublespin. Here‘s to March!

A much better reading month than I anticipated!
My February #bookspin #doublebookspin #bookspinbingo card. I didn't get to Caste but I did get 5 #botmbacklog books completed. I'm hoping to read a couple of backlogged ARCs today and looking forward to March!
@TheAromaofBooks
I didn't read as much as I wanted to this month but I enjoyed most of what I read so it wasn't too bad! ๐
I also read one of my #bookbingo picks and dnf-ed the second.
@TheAromaofBooks
#February2022 #BookSpinBingo #BookSpin#DoubleSpin
I read 21 books for February so I got full card of bingos.
This is my #FebTBR for the rest of February. Already started Death of a Policeman and The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. 11 #NetGalley books on there!
#itHadToBeYou
February #BookSpinBingo I decided this year to do it by topic, theme, category or genre because I‘m a mood/season reader and with this way I feel I have flexibility to choose to what I want to read next. ๐๐ค

I don't really want to talk about the disappointment that was January. A Little Life took way too long to read and threw off my whole month. Oh, well. New month, new list! Using #bookspin to catch up on my #botmbacklog. @TheAromaofBooks
