February 2024, how I could forget that month? 😔
I read only 4 books, difficult to concentrate in my reading but at the same time, they helped me to manage my situations. The majority were read at the begy of the month. No bingos of course ☺️
My listening recap for February.
I completed 16 books, all of which were from the library...I seriously love the library🥰😍
I had 2 DNFs for the month, A Place for Vanishing by Ann Fraistat...and The Antiquity Affair by Lee Kelly & Jennifer Thorne.
MY total time spent listening for the month was 163 Hours 16 Mins...after speeding the audio up I averaged it out to about 80 hours total. My top genre was Thriller with Mystery a close second.
February reads. I wish every book could make me speedread like I did with Pet, I love Niall Williams‘ writing (History of the Rain), and Edith Wharton‘s The Mother‘s Recompense was incredibly engaging.
No bingo's this month, but a good reading month overall. Bride was definitely the best of the month.
I didn‘t get to all the books I wanted to, but most of the ones I did read were great!
⭐️ Top Picks ⭐️
Just Another Missing Person
The Unquiet Bones
Burnout
The Carrying
Hijab Butch Blues
All the Sinners Bleed

February Wrap Up:
With a total of 6 books read I did a whole better than I thought I would, so yay me! (It would've been 7 if the 2nd part of RHOM reunion wasn't on last night 😂)
February #bookspinbingo — 6 bingos!
I had a great reading month and hope to get to the 4 I missed next month.
A difficult month for many reasons, but did manage to somehow finish 20 books. A much higher proportion than normal of audiobooks, 11 of the 20.
My favourite book was The Women by Kristin Hannah. What was your favourite read in February?

Today, I‘m sharing the books I read in February and the movies I watched. In February, I decided to start watching movies on Friday nights again because I like watching movies but I don‘t watch them very often. I didn‘t like the first book I read this month. I bailed on 2 books because they weren‘t for me but I liked the other books I read and I liked the movies I watched. I feel like I chose some good movies to watch.
February was a very up and down month, especially the second half of it.
Read 19 books but went from 399 pages a day in January to 250 in February, that‘s a big difference!
Six books finished this month. Two more places for #ReadingTheAmericas2023 🌎

Back from vacation, unfortunately. Hoping ill be able to get through a couple of books this month but there isn't much time left—about halfway through Touch of Darkness.
Bookspin - #10 - Netgalley
Double - #20 - King of Battle & Blood
Ridiculous start to #fabulousfebruary with six hours of pediatrician (kiddo‘s raging ear infection is now a raging DOUBLE ear infection) and trying to find a pharmacy to fill the new antibiotics prescription and then have the dr change the prescription because nobody can get the other one…but during the #readathon I hope to finish Dear Martin, catch up on Middlemarch, keep up with Plato at the Googleplex, and read one other book. 🤞🏻
Repost for @Andrew65
Today is the start of the #FabulousFebruary 9 day Pick Your Own Goals Readathon. From this month I‘ve brought it forward a week so as not to clash with the #BacklistReadathon.

Good luck to everyone who's joining in.

My #bookspin list for February! January was a success, but now that I‘m back in school, we‘ll see how February goes. 😂 I may be playing a little catch-up this summer. ☺️ This month I added a FOURTH reading challenge (Barnes & Noble) and squished Litsy and GoodReads TBRs into one prompt so I have some leeway. Happy Reading, fellow Spinners!
My #FebruaryTBR plans for next month. I hope I can finish them all. Let me know if you've read any of these. What are you planning to read next month?
#KindredSpiritsBuddyReed : Anne of Manhattan @BarbaraJean
#LittleHouse read along: On The Banks of Plum Creek
