Fascinating and terrifying.
Fascinating and terrifying.
On January 6th, 2021, I got off work at 3p, and turned on my phone to check the GA election results via the NPR app. Instead, I saw this as breaking news. I saw the photos, the videos—and I said, Oh my god!!! It was truly a sad day in America. Anyone that wants to know more about it and the groups involved should read this book. Nance isn‘t the only one sounding the alarm. Another ‘J6‘ will happen. And next time, it will be much worse. 🆘
Oh my, this is a rough read. But every word is important. We need to understand how militia groups are empowered and growing. This explains some history, but also more immediate info of concern, like how people are radicalized. It‘s very timely considering the Jan 6th Committee Hearings happening now. Highly recommend, but full of scary stuff.

Didn't really care for it. Author just seemed to rant about everything that dealt with Republicans and Trump.
I finished Nance‘s book a week before the first hearing of the January 6th Committee. Many (though not all) of the details of events on January 6th that were covered in that first hearing are also here. The value of Nance‘s book is that he digs deep into the white supremacist and QAnon history behind the events of that day. The resulting book is a stark warning of a clear and present danger to our nation.
