A history of how Arlington Cemetery came to be, from its start after the Civil War until today. It also talks about how our burial rituals and attitudes towards our country‘s military dead have evolved over the years. A fascinating read. 4/5 stars

Amiable @ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled It really is an excellent narrative. And funnily enough, it was MY husband who suggested I read it, too! 😀 6y
