4/5 I was a little anxious before beginning this novella, because, generally I'm not a fan of Modiano's books. But I happened to really enjoyed this one.
The narrator recounts his time spent with the photographer Francis Jansen 30 years earlier.
This book is about what we witness, what we remember, about time passing by, and how with time passing, what we witnessed and remember can be reassessed, interpreted differently through a different lense.
