pickThis is the 3rd book in the 'DS Max Craigie' series, and as with the others, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do recommend starting with the first in the series “Dead Man's Grave“ to get the most out of the stories. Set in Scotland, the team once again takes on police corruption, this time in the form of cop who is a vigilante killer. The dialogue between the team members provides some humour and the case itself is well plotted. 4/5 stars

I have read all 3 books in this crime series. I have found them all to be enjoyable. This one is a bit different as the killer is someone they know within the police department. Scott Paterson is found dead on a golf course. Next, his lawyer, Fergus Grigor, is found dead of suspicious circumstances.
8th and final book finished for #AwesomeAugust
Yet another excellent book in this series. Plenty of action, great characterisation and set in Scotland, what more could you want.
