I feel this remark.
Lee captures all the highs and lows of your favorite K-dramas in this fast-paced, entertaining friends-to-lovers story. If you like your YA with a healthy dose of hurt feelings, angst, second chances, fandom, social media mayhem, and friendship, you‘ll find plenty of that here. The plot could have been a little more complicated, the characters better developed but if you‘re looking for a light, quick read, this one fits the bill.
Hannah‘s boyfriend unexpectedly dumps her, citing they have nothing in common. She doesn‘t even watch K Dramas! Enter: Hannah‘s childhood best friend, Jacob, who is now a real life K-Drama STAR. He‘s got a bucket list for his summer break and Hannah has to be his guide. Rekindling a friendship with the only true best friend she‘s ever had won‘t ruin her plan to win back her ex, right? I mean, Jacob‘s leaving at the end of summer. right?
