Bittersweet and poignant - Judith and Joyce Scott are twins, but Judith had Down‘s syndrome, was deaf and never talked. Regardless, Joyce was heartbroken when Judith was institutionalized. They were so close, 2 peas in a pod💗💗…. But there‘s a happier ending 👍🏼

This tells the very powerful story of Judith Scott and all she accomplished. Judith was also the spectrum and this book written by her twin sister adds great diversity

This is the biography of Judith Scott who has autism. However this book shows children how people with special needs are no different from them. It is great for teaching kids about special needs.

I love the quote on the right page. It just shows how if you really know someone you can see past their disabilities and see if there‘s so much more than anyone else can see.

This part is so sad because her sister leaves, and she misses her because that was more than just a sister was her best friend

A book about the extraordinary Judith Scott‘s life and how she defied the odds. I think it is so sweet how her sister is the one writing the story of her life. Judith has down syndrome and is deaf and never learned to speak, but she was very talented in art. She was institutionalized until her sister reunited with her and rolled her into an art class.

Biography, published 2021. This book is about twins, Judith and Joyce, who do everything together. Judy was born with autism and sent to a school for children with special needs for more specialized learning, but it breaks Joyce‘s world apart. Great read for all children to understand the life of children with special needs.
