Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter collection 16-19 | 
catching up on #somethingforsept after a camping weekend. #womenauthors make up the majority of my shelves. I decided to highlight my favorite author Laurell K Hamilton. When she first started her Anita Blake series, urban fantasy wasn't yet a genre and publishers didn't know what to make of her work. But she paved the way for many of the urban fantasy series we know and love today. Reading her blog has given me a better appreciation for her work.
