Decent book 1, with lots more to come. Didn‘t blow me away, yet kept my attention wholly. Aella has quite the emotional journey between everything. She finds out there‘s a demon reincarnated inside her, Xir, destined to drown the world. Xir‘s best hope for destroying the world is for Aella to let him take control. That‘s not what Aella wants. She doesn‘t want to hurt people. But emotions run high after betrayal abound. Love the art style.

I‘ve heard good thing about this graphic novel. Setting up a new original story is difficult. Typical born to be destined to destroy the world here. There‘s some slack to be picked up on, but strong art style.
