Cats truly don‘t like Christmas—their little routines are all askew and there‘s a tree in the house! So of course I liked this little book and its humorous artwork. But when the cat changes its mind I have to beg to differ! Unless there are boxes and crumpled wrapping paper for playing, I don‘t agree that cats will suddenly love it! Or am I being too literal? 😉 A darling book for cat lovers.

4 1/2 ⭐ This was really fun. The book lists in a singsong rhyming pattern the reason cats don‘t like trees. They even ask for forgiveness for climbing Christmas trees but remind you - YOU want it inside. This would be a book that I would bring out every holiday because it‘s fun, it‘s festive, and it really makes me think about my animals and what they make of the Christmas craziness.
