Betrayals, navigating family, detecting true friendships, and escaping powerful purviews all while wishing on stardust makes this a great fantasy read! Sisters Beatriz and Daphne find self reckoning as they cope with the aftermath of their sister Sophie‘s death and the role their mother, empress Margaux played in it.
pick🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I love these books sooooo much! Daphne, Sophronia, and Beatriz are beautifully written characters and I can never decide which one I like more. There are tons of side characters who should have all the praise as well, I think these books should get so much more hype because they really are amazing! I wish there was a release date for book 3 already because I cannot wait to read it and see the cover reveal, hoping to see Daphne grace it.

Book 2: It's so well written, and the plot is moving along nicely! Loving the characters and all the secrecy between them. So much scheming is going on throughout this first half, but it's not difficult to keep up with, which I like.
pickThis sequel picks up right at the end of Castles in their Bones. The girls are left wondering what to do next and everyone‘s loyalties are tested. This one had a bit more action which I liked and set us up to anxiously wait for the 3rd installment. I love the use of magic and poisons and watching the evolution of the characters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #serieslove2023
