Some letters are easier to pick than others. For me ‘G‘ is Gatsby- no contest! 🍸
Come catch up and play along: @M.Link @Onioons @faeriepages

This letter was a no brainer. Divergent started my love of dystopian fiction.
#alphabetgame #letterC
So fun choosing my favorite book for each letter. Have to give ‘C‘ to Cassandra Clare‘s Infernal Devices series.

#alphabetgame #letterA @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
Love this idea! Post your favorite letter ‘A‘ book! Hard choice but I‘ve been on an Armentrout kick so Apollyon seemed like the obvious choice for me!

#readingbracket2022 July pick! Super hard to pick the best book each month, but I‘m loving it!
Loved this dystopian world! It seems perfect- no death, no disease, no war, no hunger, no misery but the question becomes what to do about the ever growing population. Aside from the interesting setting, the characters are all so intriguing and you can‘t help but root for good to prevail. Lots of questions about loyalty and right vs wrong. There were lots of plot twists I did not see coming and I can‘t wait to dive into book 2! #seriesread2022
I read a lot of Fantasy, but I absolutely loved this present day novel. The story was heartwarming and sad. I fell in love with the Anishinaabe culture and everything I learned through this story. I felt like the setting itself became a character as well- it was so important to the story. Definitely recommend!
#summerbookmarkswap on the way to @jenniferw88 and @Kayla.Adriena !!! I had so much fun picking them and I hope you both love them! 💝🔖📖
Phew- finally finished this series. This last one was a rollercoaster of emotions and I wasn‘t sure how they were going to end it and if everything would be resolved. I feel very satisfied with the ending and I will miss these characters. Still, in these dystopian worlds you are always left wondering what is next. #seriesread2022
Picks up moments after the first book, this new release did not disappoint. Corayne and her unusual group of heroes have to figure out what is next and how to save the realm. This one was a fantasy lovers dream with lots of high stake action, magical creatures and epic quests. Corayne is slowly becoming the hero everyone needs her to be. #seriesread2022
Shatter Me #5 and you‘d think I‘d be sick of the series by now. But I‘m still in love. Finally some truths are revealed and we get some answers to lots of questions. The truth is setting everyone free. The lies are done and the only question that remains is what will they do next? I‘m diving into book 6 to find out. #seriesread2022
#staycationswap #staycationintime #staycationintimeswap I‘m going to Scotland! @jenniferw88 You spoiled me! This is absolutely amazing! Did you make that Scottish wrapping paper it‘s incredible!!??!! #readingbracket2022 I‘ve been reading Tahereh Mafi books the entire month of June so it‘s no wonder that my June pick This Woven Kingdom beat out my May pick. Thanks again @chasjjlee for the perfect reading bracket flow chart!
My Tahereh Mafi kick continues. I love finding a new author that I want to devour every book. I love a story with hidden identities, forbidden romances and epic fantasy- and this one had it all! Love the Persian mythology elements and fell in love with all of the characters. Cannot wait for book 2 as that was quite an ending! #seriesread2022
#thoughtfulthursday @MoonWitch94
📖 Tagged book- I rarely read non fiction but I love me some Klosterman!
📖🤯💔🪐🔺: love a good sci fi love triangle!
📖cover art for sure

Wowza! I had no idea where author would take the series after book 3, but I was not disappointed! Picking up 6 months after the third book this one had tons of twists and turns I did not see coming! Love that Mafi is continuing the story line and we get to see the aftermath. On to the next. #seriesread2022
Look what arrived! Can‘t wait for opening day @jenniferw88 ❤️ #staycationintime #staycationswap #staycationintimeswap
Working my way through this series! Up next: restore me! Sooo good! 😍😍😍
The 2nd book in the series starts out a year after book 1. We learn more about Fletcher‘s lineage and background and together with his friends must try and save Hominum while battling both enemies within as well as the orcish army. I never do this, but I don‘t think I‘ll be reading the 3rd book. Just can‘t get into it and don‘t seem to love any of the characters. It‘s just so-so. #seriesread2022
Thanks for the tag @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick
🌺 current read is Inquisition by Tarah Matharu set in a fantasy medieval world with many cities; pelt and Vocan Academy.
🌺🌺 last five star read was the new Molly Lee book Spark of Ash - the 3rd in a series
🌺🌺🌺 so many good releases coming in Aug but I‘m most excited about Stephanie Garber‘s upcoming book Once Upon A Broken Heart coming out this September #wonderouswednesday I‘ll tag @Book1
I‘m sure the setting in which I am reading this made it better, but I loved the 3rd book in this series. Juliette has found her voice and her power. It felt like the end of the trilogy so I‘m curious how the next few books take shape. #seriesread2022
I‘m loving this series! Mafi uses a unique visual to show Juliette‘s internal monologue which helps illustrate her changes. She‘s getting stronger internally and externally and it really helps to see and understand her internal struggles. It‘s really a book about self discovery more than anything but set in this dystopian world where war is always looming. On to the next in the series. #seriesread2022

#Sliceofsummerswap in the mail on the way to @DinoMom ! Can‘t wait for opening day! I hope you love it! ☀️🕶🍉👙⛱😎💛
This third book picks up right after Shadow of Light and is told from both Harley‘s and Draven‘s POVs. Harley is supposed to be a weapon but is tired of being controlled and really finds herself and her true family in this conclusion. There‘s a search for ancient scrolls, life lessons about fate vs free will, more supernatural creatures and of course always the power of love and friendship. I‘m left satisfied with the ending. #Seriesread2022
Interesting start to a series with elves, orcs and demons. Set mostly in a school where the gifted are taught the arts of summoning and using the demons they are bonded with in battles. There‘s this war looming that the children are being prepared to fight in. I‘m going to read the rest in the series but it‘s not my favorite yet. #SeriesRead2022
#ReadingBracket2022 My May pick is no surprise the next book after April‘s pick! Our Violent Ends wins in May! Can‘t wait to see what June brings! And thanks again @chasjjlee for the perfect bracket graphic!
My guilty pleasure is dystopian teen fiction so I easily devoured this. So glad there are so many books and novellas in this series. We have a great heroine, fantastic setting and what I‘m hoping will be a great love story. On to book two! #SeriesRead2022
So fun @Catsandbooks ! Here‘s my #sliceofsummerswap aesthetic. Getting ready to send my swap package out soon! 🍉🍦🍋🍭🪁🏝💛⭐️
Perfect ending. I loved how Gong weaves in little hints and nods to Shakespeare; “a rose by any other name….” As well as true historical aspects from the time period. It‘s a perfect blend of history, truth and fantasy. I am excited to hear she is writing more books that take place in this world!
#RecipeSwap opening was like Christmas! @Gissy I can‘t thank you enough. A whole fantastic book of amazing Puerto Rican recipes that I cannot wait to make. The amazing sweets are so thoughtful which I will be eating as I immediately dive into Our Violent Ends. You spoiled me! Expect a real Thank You soon! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sending your book back to you @kimmypete1 ! Loved marking up books with you both @persephone1408 ! Had to send it early so you‘d get it back by June since I‘ll be away for a few weeks.

Wow. Not often a book can make you both laugh and cry. What a unique way to write a memoir. Each chapter begins with a different mix tape from a time in the author‘s life. The themes in the songs match the themes of the narrative. If you love music as much as I do, this book is a must. It‘s about love and loss and the beauty of life and music and feeling alive. Music really makes us feel our emotions, even one‘s we didn‘t know we might be feeling.
I see what the so-so raters mean; the plot was so different and unique it took awhile to get vested in the story. But I hung in there and was rewarded at the end. A plot twist I totally did not see coming! The second half of the book was much better but it did take me some time before I was interested. I love Holly Black‘s books and if you‘re a fan also, then this is a must read. If you are new to this author, I would start with the other series.
Thanks for the tag @PageShifter ! #two4tuesday
📚1 book for each vacation day is my perfect equation
📚 I‘ll carry as many as can fit in my carry on bag and load up my kindle as well. I like to mix it up. 🧳
I‘ll tag: @kimmypete1 @coffeewithbooks and anyone else who wants in!
I loved everything about this. I was born in ‘83 so the nineties were my decade. I still love everything nineties; it‘s my favorite music, movies and TV shows. I love all of Klosterman‘s books and find them super amusing and insightful. He always writes about all things pop culture related and this did not disappoint. I mean do you all remember getting tons of AOL CDs mailed to your home? If you do, read this book! 😂
This months pick is for sure These Violent Delights. Still choosing my girl Sarah Maas for the win. Can‘t wait to see what books next month brings! #ReadingBracket2022
Thanks for the amazing new template @chasjjlee !!
Thanks for the tag @Ddzmini ! I love to play! #thoughtfulthursday
📚Pride & Prejudice reminds me of spring!
📚 I love reading outside on my balcony with a cup of coffee
📚 I do not garden. I somehow find a way to kill cactus. What‘s the opposite of a green thumb?
📚Iced coffee all season long!
“This book is a love letter to Bowie…” and I loved every second of it. Some nice insight into his songs and his impact on the world. I used to read a lot of books about music and this reminded me why I like that genre. I‘m absolutely going to check out Sheffield‘s other books next.
I wasn‘t immediately hooked on this series. I spent much of the book wondering if I would want to even read Book 2. The ending hooked me. Now I need to see what‘s going to happen.
