pickThis is a beautiful book about the culture of Nokomis, a Native tribe, hair. Also my first new ereader library book. How this girl loves growing her hair out. It gets shares a difficult part, of the “reform schools” taking the children‘s hair. I love how it simply describe each year of her life and how it is woven in her hair. Hair that connects her to Mother Nature.
