The Adjuster
The Adjuster | Steve Donaldson
1 post
The Adjuster is a work of fiction and delves into a world where machine learning, robotics and artificial intelligence in general are used and exploited to serve purposes that are sometimes not so ethical or moral. Corporate executives, insurance company personnel, attorneys and mysterious characters all intersect in this dark and bleak story of deception, manipulation and prejudice. A sobering view of old school job professionalism, honesty and integrity running headlong into adversaries that are well prepared to advance their agenda. The adjuster, Dave Easton, looks to a retirement from his life-long profession in his near future, unaware of the challenge he is about to face with a newly assigned claim. Easton is world-weary and alone, but still has his embedded job skills to help guide him on this fast-moving investigation. This work of fiction will engage the reader and provoke the "what if" thoughts.
