pickThis book is a study of the role of surveillance in our society and how it's being used for social control and how our personal and public lives are increasingly on display for governments, merchants, employers, hackers and the merely curious to see.
There's a lot more to it than than, though. It's a detailed and extremely well researched book that's left me more educated on surveillance, in general.
