pickGood people sometimes do bad things, bad people sometimes do good things. I liked that there were blurred lines between good and evil. Sometimes you just have to make a difficult decision. Wow what an adventure this book was. I think I have fallen in love with the trains. Can't wait to read the next one!

Getting stuck into this years UKLA shortlisters! Enjoying Rail Head so far - setting is making me imagine a futuristic Cyber universe, dominated by an incredible train service, that bares a strange resemblance to India.
pickI originally picked this middle grade up because of the great reviews and to use it as part of Book Riot's #readharderchallenge. Goodreads turned out to be right because this was SO GOOD. Sci-fi adventure vibes with lots of imagination about the potential of big data, robots, and trains. I loved it as an adult and only wish I could have read it as a kid - it would have been a life-changing favorite.
