Pickpick

This is the final BBC Between The Covers book for this series. I went into this almost expecting not to like it, so I think that coloured my view a bit.

I actually found it a compelling read and I wanted to know what was going to happen next, but I couldn‘t connect with the MC. The MC, Professor Eustacia Rose, is a (neuro-diverse) poisonous plant expert, who witnesses troubling things from her secret roof garden.

Just a soft pick for me.
