panMeh. I think this is a sense of humour that doesn't quite work for me. Main character is a seemingly irredeemable jerk, the rest of the crew seem to be varying forms of bad, in a lame way. Maybe there's more development later in the series but I'm not hanging around to find out.
Robotswithpersonality And the bit where being an ass to the bartender doesn't pay off so he comes back later to insist on a date and she acquiesces? Ugh. 'Just keep asking she'll say yes'. I HATE that narrative being reinforced in fiction. 😖 13mo
