#VintageEdition posting ?! 3 #firstedition books by the legendary Irving Stone! "The Immortal Wife" is 1944, "The Passionate Journey" from 1949, and "The Passions of the Mind" from 1971. Good thing I can understand Greek numerals sufficiently enough ?. Can't wait to get to these someday soon! Any Irving Stone fans in the #LitsyUniverse?
LauraBeth These are awesome! Lust For Life was good 👍 8y

The Agony And The Ecstasy
ApoptyGina69 I really love all the Irving Stone I've read. As mentioned already and are standouts. I can also recommend about Darwin. I own a few others that I haven't read yet. Thanks for the reminder. 8y
The Origin: A Biographical Novel of Charles Darwin

ApoptyGina69 Hmm-I didn't know how to use the book tags, so the above reads weird. Let's try that again: Lust for Life is about Van Gogh; also made into a film. Both great. The Agony and the Ecstasy about Michelangelo is my favorite. The Origin is about the life and travels of Charles Darwin. All of Stone's Historical fiction has stayed with me and points one toward further non-fiction study. 8y

[DELETED] 2232195534 I've not read these, but I did read The President's Lady many years ago and loved it. About Rachel and Andrew Jackson. I have a great fondness for reading about First Ladies. 😀 8y
