so-soFinally! Finally finished this one. It was a slog. I think if I was not innately interested in science and specifically evolution, I would have bailed. It is well written and well researched, but after the Beagle voyage Darwin‘s life was quite cyclical: work hard writing and researching, publish book, get sick, go on vacation, and start again. I enjoyed The Agony and The Ecstasy much more.
1. The head (scolex) of a tapeworm with false coloration. I thinks it pretty.
2. A very thorough fictional biography of Charles Darwin. A bit of a slog!
