This book is from the “Country Jumper” series and is chock full of interesting facts. It‘s written for kids, but not too elementary. I think it‘s probably best used as an introduction to junior high level and older students and older folks like me who want to know about a country because the author does not stupid down anything, which I wholeheartedly appreciate. I‘m ready to jump to other countries! Highly recommended for a short read for ⬇️

Texreader the #MarshallIslands #readingOceania. Also includes a wonderful comprehensive list of the author‘s references. @BarbaraBB @Librarybelle

Interesting the country only truly became independent in 1986. #MarshallIslands #readingOceania @BarbaraBB @Librarybelle

Texreader @Librarybelle Me too! Such a good short summary of countries! She has over 200 books so I‘m hoping most of the countries I want to read for this challenge and #foodandlit are among them. 4mo

My next ebook is for #MarshallIslands #readingOceania @BarbaraBB @Librarybelle

About the cover:
“Ivy Mike” was the code name given to the first full-scale test of a thermonuclear device. It was the first fusion bomb the United States (“U.S.”) tested in Operation Ivy on November 1, 1952. The device was detonated on Elugelab Island in the Enewetak Atoll of the Marshall Islands.

Librarybelle Hope it‘s an interesting read! 4mo
