About time lord villiers
Following @LeahBergen ‘s take on #babygotback , I realise lots of romance books love to feature the heroines‘ smooth, tantalising backs on the covers. 🤔 😘

This book was a pleasant surprise. I‘m not a big romance reader, but I did like the intelligence of the characters in this story. The story itself was less formulaic than expected. Also, I didn‘t feel like the sex scenes were trying to cross the line into erotica, which is something I dislike in a lot of romances. This is my second Eloisa James book, and I like her better than most other romance writers I‘ve tried.
I stayed up late last night reading but had to finish this morning. I knew who would end up together since I read Seven Minutes in Heaven but it was still fun seeing it happen.
Just finished this delicious final book (for me) in the Desperate Duchesses series. I loved seeing Villiers finally fall in love. If you haven‘t read romance novels, these are an excellent place to start. The women are all strong and smart and fierce, which I don‘t always see in other books. #romantsy @EloisaJames
This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed it. And it's funny, bc I used to not like romances. Old age? ;)
I also love that the Libby app tracks how long it took me to read books.
I love this novel and it features one of my favorite tropes - the reformed rake/bad boy who's a good man. I developed a soft spot for Villiers when reading the first book in the series. I absolutely adore Eleanor! Here's to smart, fierce heroines and the men who love and cherish them!
This is by far my favourite historical romance novel. The character of the hero that is of somewhat questionable character throughout other novels finally gets his chance at love and redemption. This is a story that I can read over and over. One that completly ensnared both my attention and heart.
First book started and completed in the new year & I loved it. Some laugh out loud moments, a romance that actually kept me guessing and possibly my new favorite sarcastic hero (the heroine is wonderful too, but it's the duke who really charms in this book) 💕💕💕
So glad we finally get to hear the Duke of Villiers story. I have definitely grown to like him over the previous 5 books - so it was easy to root for him.
