One of my final tasks today: transfer cider to secondary fermentation carboy, where it can sit for the month that I will be gone. 🍎

I almost forgot that I'm also #currentlyreading cider-making instructions written by Annie Proulx. (Downloaded ebook from the library.) My apple tree has a bumper crop. Fingers crossed that first fermentation will be done before I leave on holidays.
